Treasury Releases Final Rule on Use of ARPA Funding

The Treasury Department has released its Final Rule on use of the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) appropriated in the American Rescue Plan Act.  The SLFRF program provides $350 billion to state, local, and Tribal governments to support their response to and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Broadband deployment and access projects are included among the eligible uses of these funds. The Final Rule takes effect on April 1, 2022.
