Notice of 42nd Annual Business Meeting

Dear NATOA Members:

This letter constitutes official notice of the 42nd Annual Business Meeting of the Association, which will be held at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in Denver, Colorado on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The credentials table will be open at 3:30 p.m. for voting members to pick up their meeting materials.

The minutes of the 41st Annual Business meeting held virtually are available here. Please review these minutes prior to the meeting.

Please take this opportunity to review the agenda and make any recommendations for additions or deletions. Please send those recommendations directly to me for consideration. Your input will provide us with the opportunity to ensure that issues of greatest importance to the membership are provided adequate time for discussion.

Finally, please note that the Board has established a specific time on the agenda for the consideration by the membership of a possible nominee to be named as a Life Member of the Association. The Board may present for your consideration a candidate for Life Member at the meeting. Life Member is a defined membership category under our Bylaws. Candidates for Life Membership “shall be individuals who are currently, or have been, individual or agency members of NATOA and who have made outstanding contributions toward furthering the goals of NATOA and its membership over a period of years and in recognition of significant achievement on national, regional, or state levels.” Life members are accorded the full membership privileges and do not pay annual dues to the association. Pursuant to the standing rules for meetings, we respectfully request that if possible, such nominations be presented in writing in advance of the meeting.
