NATOA Congratulates Biden Nominees Acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, Gigi Sohn & Alan Davidson

Today, the White House announced that President Biden will renominate Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel to her seat as an FCC Commissioner and has designated her as the Commission’s Chairwoman.  President Biden will also nominate Gigi Sohn as an FCC Commissioner and Alan Davidson as Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.  NATOA’s President, Michael Russo, issued the following statement: “NATOA congratulates the nominees and looks forward to working with a fully staffed FCC and NTIA to ensure that federal communications policies promote and protect the public interest.  Our federal partners are critical to NATOA’s efforts to protect consumers, enhance public safety, promote and expand community media and advance other local government communications goals.”
