NATOA and Local Governments File Reply Supporting Reconsideration of Wireless Modification Rules

NATOA and a coalition of local governments jointly filed a Reply in support of their Petition for Reconsideration of the FCC’s Report and Order finding that excavation and deployments up to 30 feet outside a tower site will not defeat the application of Section 6409(a), a statute which mandates local approval of certain modifications to wireless towers and base stations.  The Order took effect January 4, 2021.
