Wireless Small Cell Deployments   

Oral argument in the Section 6409 appeal, League of Cal Cities et al v. FCC (9th Cir.), wrapped up this summer in the San Francisco Courtroom of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.   Dozens of cities, counties and chapters both large and small have been challenging this declaratory ruling of the FCC to require approval of wireless facility modifications, which are often disputed because of local zoning regimes.

What can we learn, practically, from the court decisions that have started to come through after the Ninth Circuit Portland decision?
