Khotan Harmon

Khotan Harmon is the Sr. Program Manager for Telecommunications and Regulatory Affairs with the Financial Services Department of the City of Austin. In her role, Khotan manages the Community Technology Team and the Consumer Protection Group. She focuses on strategy; local, state, and federal policy and funding; private investment, public-private strategic funding opportunities; digital equity and closing the digital divide. Most recently Khotan served as the 2021 Leadership Austin Digital Inclusion Fellow at the City of Austin, a one-year executive fellowship underwritten in large part by the St. David’s Foundation. As the Digital Inclusion Fellow Khotan facilitated multi-sector tactical and strategic efforts to explore and build sustainable and equitable solution to close the digital divide. Khotan is an experienced consultant in both the public and private sectors. She has served on the Board of Leadership Austin, the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, and is the current Chair of the Board of Peace Through Commerce. Khotan was named one of Austin’s “Women We Love” by Austin Monthly Magazine and lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Wade and their cat ZuZu.
