Professional Bio
As Howard County’s Cable Administrator, Donna Richardson oversees the cable operators’ performance, investigates and negotiates resolution of cable related complaints, manages the Public, Education and Government Grant Funding for Howard County’s PEG Channels and monitors legislation that may impact rights-of-way authority. Additional responsibilities are, advising the County Executive and County Council on cable-related issues that may impact the County, such as Cable Regulations, Programming, Cable Technology and new developments.
When Donna became the Cable Administrator, she joined NATOA and CAPATOA, the Regional Chapter that serves the Baltimore, Washington, DC and Virginia areas. She’s proud to begin her second term on the NATOA Board, serves on the NATOA Communications committee and has been a moderator for E-NATOAs and the Annual Conference.
Over the years, Donna has also been very active in her community. Currently she serves on Leadership Howard County’s Steering Committee; is the Past Chair of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce and former President of the Howard County Police Foundation. For her community support, Donna was recognized by the Daily Record as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women.
